reels and stories of Worldtrippin 2026: bikepacking from Belgium to Down Under and back
Worldtrippin 2026 is an ongoing bikepacking project that started at the end of june 2026 in Belgium
We're Roos and Kristof and were planning to go all the way to Down Under (Australia or New Zealand is still under consideration) and back from our hometown in a year with a bicycle, which will be 50.000 kilometer in total
The currently planned route [ instagram | facebook ] will take us via Eastern Europe, through Russia, into Mongolia. Then continue over China, South-Korea, Japan, China again to end up for the winter in South-East Asia where we will continue all the way down to Bali. If we actually make it to Australia or New Zealand will depend on the budget. Then a flight into India to get back home over the stans, Turkey and the Mediterranean. Return is planned by the end of August 2027.
NO WAY this is ever going to be the definite route, but we'll see what the road has in store for us and roll with the punches.
